Devlog #2
Made some HUGE changes to the opening cutscene of the game, as well as to the game itself!
The game will now use banksetting. Basically, the CPU and Graphics Chip have their own ROMs, instead of a shared one.
All sorts of graphics have been added to further enhance the opening cutscene, and the hills shave been improved to be more pixel perfect.
The sunrise has been changed to look more sunrisey, and the waterfall now has random colors. There’s 32^71 possibilities as to what the waterfall could look like at any given frame. That’s well over one googol if you do the math (or ask a clanker, IDK)
So, let me know what you think, and do feel free to tell me how I can improve Monday the 13th so far!
(The yellow screen means the jump to another bank is working, but the bank has nothing yet soooo)
Devlog #1 (and a huge change to Monday the 13th):
You can now officially demo the game, and see how you think it’s coming along so far!
I have not only got a background up and going, but I have also managed to get some pretty cool graphics up and running as well. Sadly, it’s all stationary, but you can see that the intro already seems to have parallax action being worked on.
Stay tuned for more updates, and do feel free to express any concerns or issues with the game you have!
Also, here is a screenshot of the intro so far.
The game is now officially being worked on.
