VBooks Devlog #1 — The Journey Begins

June 2026

Today marks an exciting milestone for VBooks.

Over the past few days, I’ve been working on building the foundation of what I hope will become a platform for curious minds around the world. The first version of the VBooks landing page is now complete and serves as the starting point for a much larger vision.

What is VBooks?

VBooks is a digital publishing platform focused on delivering premium knowledge and content. The goal is to provide:

  • Premium books
  • Insightful blogs
  • Original stories
  • AI & technology magazines
  • Exclusive educational content
  • Future products and experiences for lifelong learners

The vision is simple: create a place where curiosity is rewarded and learning never stops.

Progress So Far

✅ Brand concept finalized

✅ Core product structure planned

✅ Initial pricing strategy drafted

✅ Landing page completed

✅ Development roadmap outlined

The current landing page is only the first step, but it gives a glimpse into the direction VBooks is heading. Feel free to share your thoughts.

What’s Next?

The focus now shifts toward building the actual platform.

Some of the major features planned include:

  • User accounts
  • Digital library system
  • Secure content delivery
  • Subscription plans
  • Magazine publishing system
  • Blog platform
  • AI-powered features (hopefully)
  • Payment integration
  • Analytics and creator tools

There is still a significant amount of work ahead, but development has officially begun.

Target Launch

My current goal is to have the full VBooks platform built and operational by September 2026, although timelines can always change as development progresses.

The priority is building something reliable, useful, and genuinely valuable rather than rushing features.

Looking Ahead

This is only Devlog #1.

There will undoubtedly be challenges, redesigns, bugs, and lessons along the way, but every great platform starts somewhere.

For now, the journey has begun.

See you in the next update.

DevBlog #1: Gesture Hackpad
Hey everyone! It has been an absolute grind, but I have some massive news to share for my very first devblog.
Here is where my custom macropad project stands right now, and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.

The Progress: The Core PCB is Complete!
My biggest milestone yet 😭(am still new to this).

Getting here wasn’t easy! I had to clear a few major engineering hurdles during the routing phase:

Shorts: I successfully redirected our trace lines to completely clear the massive physical mounting holes and pins for the mechanical switches, ensuring zero electrical interference.

Ratsnest Lines: The layout is 100% complete with clean copper paths, passing the KiCad design checks with zero errors in the 3D viewer.

📦 Next Phase: Case Design & Enclosures
Now that the electronics are locked down, I am moving straight into 3D modeling the physical enclosure to hold everything together. I am adopting a robust, sandwich-style case structure featuring a secure top switch plate and a protective bottom shell with a built-in cutout for the USB-C port.

Future Modifications: A Total Surprise!
I know a standard 3-key macropad is cool, but I want to make this thing truly unique. I am already planning out a series of custom hardware and design modifications to elevate it way beyond the basic tutorial guidelines.

What are they? Well… that is a complete surprise for now. 🤫

Stay tuned for DevBlog #2, where I will show the first physical 3D prints and revealing our secret upgrades!

What modifications do you think we’re adding? Let us know your guesses!
