SAVE BEST ONE

Now you can save models and choose from the 14 best ones. They are saved in models folder and you can even send them to your friends (send whole folder). You can also load saved models with “L” and save with “S”, to choose between different models use arrow keys.
Now DIF_MODE - if you would turn on this option two segments on inner circle will stick out so now its harder to ride a car.

They are smart now

Neural network is really good now. It is a race car. Changes:

• I added graph to visualize best score
• I removed deltaTime - time between frames, so simulations doesnt depends on it
• Improved vizualisation
• In neural network I removed direction as parametr so now car learns how to drive instead of remembering track

ITS ALIVE

A lot of changes has been made - firs of all is reward system - all these dim green lines are checkpoints, for crossing them neural network get a reward.
Then of course I implementer AI itself. Now it spawn a 100 cars and chooses the best each generation.
Also cars receive a benefit when they ride each lap faster. So riding faster is also a plus.
I increased size of cars to make them a bit more realistic.
There is a video of already trained generations which shows what a generation looks like. They all disappear because I set so max amount of laps they can go is three, so new generation is created, because old one wouldnt crash.
There are a lot of thing to add still, like better physics, model saving and training for variety of tracks not only for one.

Base for machine learnign

In this devlog I prepared everything to start teaching machines how to ride a car - the car was prepared for them. What has been done:

1. Track generation - trach is 4 mathematic functions that create 1000 line segments in total to serve as walls.
2. Optimized ray logic - car will have only 3 sensors (green) that will tell distance till wall
3. Car class itself - for optimization i wont have 1000s of car object but in the class there will be stored vectorized information about all cars operating with numpy
4. Visual part - I will render only one car, but under the hood there will be much more cars training.

Video game in my OS

I added a functionality to the trash app. Now to clear “cache” in my OS, you have to play a game where you need to catapult trash to target. Controlls:

• Input ranges - vertical and horizontal trajectory
• Enter or SHOOT button - launch
• R - restart game after loss
  Also you can sometimes delete needed information for OS functionality and will be activated self destruction mode
  Game is written with a bit of math and html canvas)

Polished + Image Viewer

Now you can open Images and ZOOM IN
I also added a lot of content - text file and funny jokes even small puzzle )
You can also use basic search in File Explorer as well as going to specefic folder by typing it in path input.

Update of the File Explorer

In this addition i added more manuality to basic functions and huge amount of small fixes that enabled me to add new things. Some small updates:

• Added seconds to time
• Skip option for booting screent by pressing ESC
• Everything preinstalled is now a default so testers will be able to use system more easily
  Also as it is shown in the image now there is new look to File Exlorer and it can now open txt files in notepad, though some of functions like searching are not working yet. Images one of which is stored in Documents folder is opening as text in notepad showing link.
  Next update I will polish File Explorer and add Image Viewer

First steps of MANUALITY

Toady I added two main thing and first is the taskbar update - was added decorative icon and time in right side (hh:mm:ss and dd:mm:yyyy)
Also I added install command that shows animation of installation as well as changes in dictionary that package was installed. For now it doesnt work - system feels as everything preinstalled but next thing to do is to add restrictions to system usage without proper installations.

More commands and boot screen

I reworked app opening logic so now you can open an app with one terminal command, like notepad or web.
Also now before lock screen booting screen can be seen. It shows ~350 lines of some made up text to imitate linux boot screen. It takes about 5.5 seconds to boot up.

Lock screen and neofetch like command

Today I added lock screen where you choose your username and whether you want to use this system in manual mode. Also I added command neofetch to show ManualOS logo in console.

Terminal

Now that is the projects main part - terminal installs - manual part. User will have to install packages to do something - open apps, close apps, minimize apps - super MANUAL, so disk is not flooded with unnecessary packages.
Today I added terminal and help command, with plans to expand amount of commands. Interesting part of implementation was color setup - I made terminal structure rework from initial idea. With this console structure I can easily write new colors to show in terminal. There is also easter egg)).
Whats next:

• Command expansion and make them actually work
• Lock screen
• Manuality
• other fun stuff

P.S. Manu testers may be fooled, but you can actually open multiple windows of the same app, as much as you want, just like in Linux or any other OS.

Functional taskbar and notepad

Now taskbar is not a decoration it is a functinable piece of software. You can choose app to open, choose whats app is on top of other and minimizing works. If you minimize app now pressing in the taskbar you can bring it back! Now thats pretty cool HUH? 😅 Also I added Notepad where you can write something, no functionaluty for now only textarea but looks goood.
Also used backdrop-filter: blur(25px) to blur backgrounds, looks good to me.

Window controll buttons

Today I added options for users to maximize, minimize and close windows, also i added so windows now have adjustable priority and you can controll which windows are on top of others by clicking on them. Here is a video of functionality showcase:

Added windows and added browser application

I added so when you double click on icon the window with app opens. Also browser was added. It is not google, funny thing google simply doesnt work in iframe. Also these windows are draggable from left side.
You can write a url and press Enter, then site will be loaded. In exaples can be seen Wikipedia and my other project - Authentication template )

I started my Manual OS

The idea is to make Web OS where nothing is installed and you have to install everything manually. There will be two options to use complete instalation or do manualy. Right now i am building main part then to split it and make users to install by parts everything (instalation is only in UI)

Minor bug fix
Fixed some bugs when signing up and pytest bug fix. Wat throwing 500 Internal server error because errors were not handled.
