Added a feedback option, filled out the project deets, and i will probably add some more simple commands, yknow? also, made a PFP
So i made this simple shell. im making each command have a 74 percent chance to respond, so that’s the gimmic. it might slack off, might not. i hate javascript so much bro this lang sucks absolute ass
god damnit i keep making one-off cool ass projects and then doing nothing with them anywho i just finished my smart home interface which i call chrome. it consists of a bracelet and an access point, each having their own microcontroller. the bracelet, powered by the access point, has an STM32C031C4Tx, the access point has an ESP32-WROOM-U2, allowing it access to wifi, bluetooth, and an added IR LED to control IR shit. they communicate via UART, and i repurposed a 3.5mm audio cable to act as both power and data. smart, huh? this WHOLE thing was inspired HEAVILY by cyberpunk, my current microfixation. hope you guys like it.
I am making an STM32 pager for me and my homies to talk without relying on our phones to undigitize our lives. we all have a big phone addiction and this might help us get off the damn phone. this thing has a whole built in keyboard, 5 mechanical keys, an E-Paper screen, and uses LoRa for long range communication. its got a battery JST connector (not in screenshot sorry) and a charging circuit. this thing is packed with QoL features. gonna learn onshape for this case.
Finished the first module! its the actual microcontroller. i really love the STM32’s, they’re just so damn neat. i also finished the PCB but if i open another kicad window my computer will die. the modules communicate via CAN and have magnetic connectors because thats so satisfying
Finished the schematic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god this took so fucking long i ended up just scrapping wireless and instead going with ethernet. i did add a neopixel button and a 6-pin JST connector for whatever your heart desires. hey, 30 GPIO, 8 of which are ADC, isnt bad.
got a lot out of the way with this one. first i wanted to make a simple RP2040 devboard. it is not simple at all. 2 RP2040’s. each 16MiB of flash. SPI’d together into shit. an 8x8 LED matrix controlled by a MAX7219. currently adding an NFC read/writer an planning to add wireless, a couple programmable LED’s and buttons. stay tuned.
Finished the PCB COMPLETELY. THATS IT. DONE. NOTHING ELSE. i added a programmable button and a BOOT button, along with a power indicator.
Made a bloody case in tinkercad. lets hope and pray my funding request gets approved.
i finished the PCB!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK GOD FOR FREEROUTING YET AGAIN. uh can anybody help me out here how do i get a demo URL of a couple files in my computer…?
finished the schematic for my new project! wow this is gonna take a while for the PCB huh
FINALLY FINISHED THE PCB THANK GOD FOR FREEROUTING
holy fuck i just finished wiring this sucks ASS.
fucked up BAD. my dumbass decided to nuke half of all components and obviously my math was wrong as shit. now trying to redo.
wired the shift registers to the drivers. this fucking SUCKS ASS.
oh my god this wiring is gonna take bloody forever. im not even done with the shift registers.
