DEVLOG #1 of StarShuffle !!! - Hey guys! This is the 1st devlog for StarShuffle, and I’m just gonna get into it. - StarShuffle is kinda like that cool website, Bored Button. But especially made for Stardance! - As you can clearly tell, this is my first time writing any sort of HTML or CSS by hand haha, and before this I was depending on AI to do it for me, but this time it was different. It looks terrible right now, but this is only my first day, and I promise if you follow along you will DEFINITELY see an improvement (hopefully) - So yeah that’s sort of it, check back soon! And also check out my robotic arm project It’ll be tuff.

Today I finished Ueno Bot, my first Slack bot. I built it with JavaScript, Node.js, and Slack Bolt using Socket Mode. It currently has five commands:/oliverueno-ping/oliverueno-help/oliverueno-catfact/oliverueno-joke/oliverueno-statusThe hardest part was deploying it and setting up the Slack tokens without putting them on GitHub. I deployed it on Render and tested it in #bot-spam. The ping command responded in 3 ms, and the other commands worked too. I also connected the project to Hackatime and linked the GitHub repository. I might add more useful or funny commands later.

I rebuilt my personal portfolio to better show who I am, what I have made, and what I contributed to each project. The hardest part was creating a seamless project carousel that works on every screen size without leaving gaps. I am most proud of the achievement counters, project detail popups, and the separate Beyond Coding page. To test it, visit the site, click the moving project cards, open their details, try the contact links, and resize the browser. Everything should work without signing in.

I Rebuilt My Portfolio. My old portfolio worked, but it did not show much about me or what I actually contributed to my projects. So I rebuilt it with a simpler dashboard-style design using plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The new version highlights my achievements, selected projects, working stack, and interests outside coding. I also added project detail popups and a seamless scrolling project section. The hardest part was making the project animation work on every screen size. On wide displays, it would sometimes run out of cards and leave an empty space. It now measures the screen and creates enough cards to loop smoothly. Check it out at oliverueno.site . Feedback is always appreciated!

I built ProjectPacket, a simple way for freelancers to collect files, text, links, brand colors, and approvals from clients without chasing everything through email.

The hardest part was keeping the freelancer dashboard and client upload page in sync while making the experience easy to use.

I also added secure packet links, optional passcodes and expiration dates, reusable templates, color previews, and review actions.

I’m proud that it now feels like a real product I could send to a client.

To test it, sign up, create a packet, and open the client link in another tab. Submit a file, some text, a link, or an approval. Then return to the packet dashboard and try approving it or requesting changes.

Hi! I’m working on ProjectPacket, a simple tool that helps freelancers collect everything they need from clients without chasing them through email. They can create a checklist for things like logos, copy, photos, links, brand colors, and approvals, then send the client one upload link. I’ve got the main flow working now, including creating packets, submitting files, tracking what is missing, and reviewing items. Right now I’m improving the design and making the client upload page feel clearer and more trustworthy, especially on mobile. Some parts are still rough, but it is starting to feel like a real product.
