Some WebOSes don’t let you save files, don’t let you drag files around, neither do they let you delete files, BlepOS is not one of those WebOSes. (this is my second ship, just re-iterating some points for new reviewers)
.
I introduce… BlepOS. :yay: :yay:
BlepOS is a complete web-based operating system.
Files that you create or save persist across reloads.
.
One app can have multiple windows, windows can be minimised, can be brought to the front, and the app itself can be quit (meaning all windows are closed).
.
Windows can be fullscreened, minimised, or closed. Windows can be resized by holding and dragging the bottom right corner.
.
The camera app stores files directly on the desktop, files can be renamed, named, created, deleted (sent to trash). All these operations can be performed via the file manager, RIGHT CLICK to see available options, the whole operating system uses a custom context menu! (when in doubt, right click :yay:)
.
AceEditor allows you to save files in different formats WITH syntax highlighting.
.
BlepOS has a collection consisting of 3 games, present on the Games folder on the Desktop. (MiniClip’s 8 Ball Pool, a Doom knockoff, and BlockWorlds) + we have installable games now <3, just check the BlepStore.
.
Somebody said YouTube doesnt work in the browser.. so I added something EVEN BETTER… BlepTube!
.
The terminal app can be used to perform certain commands, while the settings app can personalise BlepOS for you.
.
All launched apps appear in the dock, while some apps are pinned. Each active pinned app has a white dot underneath its icon.
.
BlepOS also has a spotlight/system-wide search feature, give it a spin.
Complete list of features:

  • App minimising
  • App fullscreen
  • Camera App
  • Calculator App
  • Web Browser (multi-tab support, home button, reload button)
  • Settings App (customisable background, date/time, battery)
  • Multi-window support
  • Force quitting apps
  • Bringing all app windows to front (by clicking the icon in the dock)
  • Custom context menu
  • Draggable and resizable windows (resize from the bottom right corner)
  • File manager
  • Files persist across reloads and new tabs
  • Files and shortcuts on desktop
