Didn’t like the previous design so scrapped it and started again (this is the 5th time I have redesigned so it very well could happen again). Also fixed most of the JS, so the note app and calculator are now both working. Added resizing to the windows as well.

Added some apps/plans for them. I still need to the most of the JS as well as fix most of the styling but slightly better than what I had before.

Ok so that did not go smoothly. Don’t know what happened but brain just was not functioning at all. Absolutely no processing happening in my brain. There were so many stupid errors involved, so I restarted twice… anyway finally got a base at least. I will be adding more and styling later. Looks quite bland at the moment, not the vibes.
The idea of this page was to create a selection of easy to hard challenges that cover a range of different cryptography ciphers as well as web exploration challenges. Creating a CTF style challenge website to learn, problem solve, and explore some cybersecurity areas.
What I found was challenging during this process was the fact that I was having to learn and pick up the javascript as I created the project. Due to having to learn the javascript as I went, since I had very basic knowledge at the start, this added to the time aspect quite a lot. I also did many new things in terms of styling to page which led to more errors and time that I spent learning and fixing as I went.
Though I do like how the site turned out and am happy that I was able to create around fourteen challenges in total. I was also quite proud of how the styling did turn out since making many of the elements was new to me.
When testing this page and going through the challenges, everything that you need for the cryptography challenges is provided if you need the assistance. To complete the web exploration challenges you will need to be able to use the inspect element tool.

Just doing what should hopefully be last edits, bug fixes, read throughs, and styling for the page as a whole.
I made a webpage about myself that I can also use similar to a portfolio for myself. The page includes information on me as well as links to other project(s) that I have and will be creating.
Through this project, styling and me just didn’t seem to get along. I always ended up messing up which seemed to normally end up with it just being an issue of a nested div not being correct. Though these tend to mess me up since I never seem to spot them. Style wise though I am happy with the results of how the page looks. I wanted to take inspiration from old newspapers for the style of the page and I think I did my best to represent this idea. Though I did have the limitations of how I wanted it to look vs. what I was actually putting on the page for content.
I did not use AI to code any of this site, I only used it to point out where two errors were, both of which were the nested div errors that I was just being very very blind to. I did not use AI in any other way.

Well I added some challenges and finally got round to editing the home page which I had been putting off for ages now. I want to fix the intro text for the home page but not much else for now. I think I am mostly done and might think about shipping soon but we will see how we go.

Well I decided that it would be good to have a page with all the answers to the challenge so here we are. Each challenge will have a quick description on how to solve it, as well as the final flag. I also did some re-styling and adding little things in here and there.

So I got a couple more challenges done for the site today. I think I may only do 2 more challenges (one in in each section) for now so hopefully that will happen tomorrow. Anyway the pic is from one of the web challenges I made, like the last 3 were.

So that took so much longer than I thought it was going to. Not to mention the challenge that I wanted to compleat is still not done, but I don’t want to continue tonight so here I am. Oh well, I think the base of the entier site is mostly done for now. I am just going though and adding the challenges now. I think I have about ten and half done, but I will be focusing on adding them from now on.

OK so I worked on setting up what I think should work as local storage. While setting that up it messed up something else, which I had to fix. I also linked up the progress/checkbox tracker across all the pages and a way to reset said progress. I also went through and fixed some bugs I came across. (Text may change since some are placeholders still)

Log four: Well after a lot of reading I got this set up for a backend I think. Very first time doing this so I think will take couple times to fully get it but its working for now so I am gonna take that as a win.

Third log: Well I continued to work on the crypt page. Formatted it so you can see and the challenge and hint with different sections so you can look at challenge without seeing hint. This took me, again, probs longer than it should have. I did other things along with some organisation. Oh and I played around making a couple simple challenges.

Second Log: Doing some more styling since I want to get that mostly set up as I work on starting the challenges. Adding a couple more pages since I am procrastinating doing the actual web challenges and I wanted them anyway. Plus it took me much longer than it should have to just make a nav bar that still needs some work.
