another big update! help now uses it, along with hackclub-ai-help . unfortunetley aoishik kidnaped the repo idk why but probably to auto deploy on push
Anyways firstly we tried but failed to fix why slack mesage deleiton wasnt working.
I also added integretion with taut, so now taut will show it as me sending it with small app icon instead of showing it from a app, it looks realy cool
more updates to follow(or probably not, i have exams so ill ship now but updates will come after sd ends)

Plan for future is to make it so that i can run ?forward #stardance-help to forward the ticket it would make much things easier
And i will kidnap the wait time form unified help, and probaly get this on a hackclub repo!

i did a lot of stuf!

• made so that you can add macros on app homepage
• made it use the promethus api instead of a ws admin token! no ned to bother a ws admin now just ask evan! is safer too since only for one channel
• made macros use helper pfp cuz looks better

first of all, hcai went down for about a day, cuz openrouter decided to reject mahad’s card. when it was back up, i saw that the BAcklog of unembeded projects would take about 3 days to clear, then i decided to fix the script, so it does not embed projects without any devlogs, and also to use the BAtch endpoint, since hcai limits 750 requests/ 30 minutes, i could previously only embed 750 projects every 30 mins. now, i send 25 different projects at one time, so that i can get faster embedings. i also added a cost tracker, and see that embedings are GODAMN cheap! like less than $0.1 for almost half of stardance!

I also fixed a bug, where the scraper parsed hour counts incorrectly since the actual text included minutes too, so it miscounted

I also wrote a few(LOT) of helper funcions to query the db and emnedings, etc, for the Payout Estimater ™️

also, for scraper to get payout, i made this #873 which shows hour count, and multiplier for each ship. i also made #931 which makes stardance.hackclub.com/projects/latest redirect to latest project link(should, but for some reason does not as of writing, Rowan said bug on their end) Lastly, Mish asked for a descrption of what cursed and blesed is, as a update to the hour count and stuff, which i did in #1035

I made a scraper to scrape all of this very same site you are reading this on!then, i proceeded to use HackClub AI to embed each and every projectIncase you dont know what embeddings are, here is a short explanation:wait, do you know what vectors are? basicly its a list of numbers that show how to get from one place to other, in a number of dimensions. so if i want to go from here to moon, i may move -100km in x 120km in y and like a billion km in z direction. A embeding model takes a piece of text, and outputs a vector, but unlike the above example, which was 3d, the model gives like 2560 dimensions vector! What we can do with this, is feed all projects into it and get embedings out of them, allowing us to compare them with other projects. this lets me find similar projects, how is this usefull?when i code the part that estimates what payout you should get, it will compare the embedding on your project to the one on other project and find similar ones to estimate your payout.

I added a status endpoint at https://hcai.devansh.hackclub.app/history so that you can see current and past status of ai.hackclub.app/up and use it for whatever purposes. Also added estimated time to 0 and fixed a bug where the image was not visible by hosting it at https://hcai.devansh.hackclub.app/balance_trend.png

There is still a bug where it shows double lines on the canvas, and im nor sure if its at my end only, so if you see it pls dm @devansh on slack with a picture.

Got bot working, there was issue where bot uploaded private images so no one could see, but i used claude and it told to use a format like in the canvas so it will put image directly in the canvas. The pinned message part is yet to be tested, and will be tested when hackclub ai runs out of money again. bound to happen soon, it happens like every week.

since hcai is down:( i got the bot to fallback to gemini api. obvislouy i forgot to restart so it failed the first time

Added /ai-status command so that anyone can see how usefull the bot is

I set it up on nest and made it so that you can mention the bot in a thread and it will reply based on the question and it is grounded to the workspace messages
