made the drawing and rendering function

this was the part that is still kind of blurry to me i need to understand this to be able to make the rendering faster

i am starting to understand the flow of the rpogram after creating the first 4 instructions:

• the 0x0000 function to handle secondary masking for 0z0 series
• 0x00e0 instructions that clears screen
• the 0x00ee instructions that returns from a subroutine
• the 0x1NNN instructions that jumpst o specified instruction

started working on the init and cycle functions

It is crazy how much time it takes for me to understand this stuff… it is everything i’ve learnt in my cs class but the implementation is crazy

creating a chip8 emulator

I first started researching on emulation itself as a topic then went onto discover the chip8 as the first starting point. i then read the chip8 documentation and was fascinated by it. this somehow seemed like i could really understand how computers work with this even if it was like computers of the 1970s 

i also got to see old python usage:

there was a mapping bug again

made the changes to the chp table so as to include which all users can access which subjects

created a file where you can run to initialise

You can run this file to like initialise all the required stuff like database and tbales……

wrote up the entire code for act 1 and the different choices…. i also added a mail trigger where it scans the mail every 5 mins to figure out if anyone has started the game

made the lore!!!!

the actual lore for the first act is done now its going to be a headache to implement these game mechanisms

added 3 funcitons

now moving on to make the main execution loop but i keep running into some logical error. the loop just shuts down automatically

phew added the first cutscene

finally!!!!! added the first scene prelouge after so much time and effort!! and i still have to write various plots and endings 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Created the basic outline plot

I sat down, did my research and plotted the basic layout of the game and the various arcs of it. it is going to be quite short mostly a gave completed under 4 hours…….. hope it turns out well

I ran into a mapping problem

the original structure i decided to use had complicated mapping and i ended up entangled in it.
so i went back dropped all the tables and rewrote the structure scratch up so now it is a linear mapping rather than many to one mapping

I created a google form (completely anonymous one) to gather data on how do people actually feel about some topics that weigh heavily on my heart when i am encountered with them.

i plan on creating a story that actually touches you somewhere so to create the storyline i decided to gather data on it. please fill it it would help a lot to the project

i Don’t know where to start.

I started off not knowing anything i spent some time brainstorming with gemini trying to figure out what exactly it is i will be doing and possible pahways….
I got the option of creating a gmail add on or mailto threads….. I decided with mailto as it seems kind of mysterious and vintage ….. “Love story over gmail”

finally finished manually making the whole flowchart and getting it to fit on a pdf. the hard part was how branched it gets even for projects like these which are dirst simple…. I dont want to have to make a flowchart for my college projects in the futture 😭

Created the actual digital version of the flowchart i sketched out in app.diagrams.net well half of it till now rest of the work is going to have to wait for timorrow……. Phew school stuff is hard work 🥹🥹
