What did you make?

I made Anime Lovers Future OS, a personal digital space designed for anime fans. I wanted it to feel different from a normal anime website, so I focused on creating an experience that feels like entering your own anime-inspired world.

What was challenging?

The most challenging part was turning an idea that was mostly in my head into an actual working project. I had to figure out how to structure the interface, make the design feel right, and solve problems when things didn’t work the way I expected.

What are you proud of?

I’m proud that I took an idea I genuinely wanted to build and turned it into something people can actually interact with. I’m especially proud of the overall atmosphere and the fact that it feels like the beginning of something I can keep developing.

What should people know so they can try your project?

I’d recommend exploring the project rather than just looking at the first screen. Take a moment to interact with it and imagine what you would want from your own anime-focused digital space. And if you have an idea for something I could add or improve, I’d genuinely love to hear it — it could become part of what I build next.

I made Travelling in Future, an interactive future-travel simulator where users choose a year, destination, and mode of transportation, then experience a simulated journey to places like a future city, the Moon, or Mars. After arriving, users can explore different locations, interact with them, scan discoveries, learn whether technologies are realistic, possible, or speculative, and earn XP, making the project feel more like an interactive experience than a normal website.
One of the biggest challenges was making the project feel like an interactive future-travel experience instead of just a normal website. I had to figure out how to create the travel animation and progress system, make different destinations and years affect the experience, and build interactive exploration where users could click locations, scan them, discover information, and earn XP. I also had to work through coding errors and make the interface responsive and easy to use.
I’m really proud that I turned the idea of Travelling in Future into an actual interactive project rather than just a concept. I especially like that users can choose a year, destination, and transportation, experience the journey, and then explore and discover things after arriving. It taught me how to make a project feel more like an experience than a simple webpage.
To test my project, people should open the live Vercel demo, choose a year, destination, and transportation method, start the journey, and then use the interactive locations after arriving to explore, scan discoveries, and earn XP. They should try different years and destinations to see how the experience changes, and they don’t need to install anything because it runs directly in a web browser.
