This is a full stack interactive satellite and orbital tracking dashboard. The project includes Node.js/Express backend, which acts as a proxy and cache for raw Three-Line Element (TLE) orbital data from CelesTrak to circumvent API rate limits, and parses international space craft metadata in order to classify satellites based on their launching agency (NASA, ESA, ISRO, Roscosmos, CNSA, CSA, as well as SpaceX and Planet Labs). A React-based frontend takes advantage of SGP4 orbital mechanics physics (satellite.js library), in order to compute coordinates, altitude and velocity in real time. The current position is visualized via dynamic rendering on 3D Earth globe with React Three Fiber. The user can pick any satellite, enter custom ground observer coordinates and check real-time look-angles (Azimuth, Elevation, Range) along with color-coded 3D line of sight vector indicating if spacecraft is above or below the observer’s local horizon.

It’s very personal to me :D

This WebOS is genuinely cooking
