The 8x8 shootout is a multi-genre arcade starting with 3 games built entirely in Java. The project all together have different gameplay styles, featuring a fast-paced 2D shooter with custom shooting mechanics alongside a tactical Chess puzzle implementation complete with automated checkmate logic and an integrated puzzle manager. As well as a soccer penatly shooter complete with shooting mechanics and goalie. Name is from all elements of the game! You will also need a gambit for the chess puzzle.
