I made a wheel. it still has yet to spin and it looks HORRIBLE but a whole canvas system would take forever. This also looks funny.
I added the logic to actually get a random game from your list! It also displays it in a box, but the actual randomiser wheel UI I haven’t implemented yet. So far, the API hell is over so I’m having fun.
I haven’t really used APIs all that much because WOW THEY ARE SO ANNOYING TO WORK WITH and because I’m using github pages web hosting I had to go through a whole process to make a cloudflare worker (really annoying). The time spent working on the worker is not tracked properly because it’s web vs code.. which sucks… But at least you can get a list of all the games someone played!
it’s finisheddddddddddddd you can do all sorts of timetably stuff with it and um i didn’t do a very good job at documenting the development process but like it’s pretty good i think and it works so like yea it is working now so cool story but yeah
feature list:
since my last devlog i have since added… everything that a timetable app needs! You can add classes, breaks, everything, and the setup process flows quite nicely I think.
how have i not done a devlog yet wow that’s crazy ummm you can like. set up teh timeable and you can set dates and creat classes but you can’t actually like. set the classses into the times that you choose so like you can’t actually time your table with this app yet but it will soon time the table because I am being forced to create this app it has to be done because otherwise I will explode eyah so soon enoigh you’ll be able to actually set your timetable up but for now you can just go between views it’s kinda cool tbh I’ve set some default variables but it works nicely and soon enough it will be done so yeah.
why is there no spellcheck here help.
I got the basic UI down. the hardest thing was the grid. On a proper screen size it’s center aligned, but then that becomes a problem when the sceen height is too small. so i had to spend quite a bit of time reordering css and using (at)media tags to fix that. er……….. took a really long time to figure out i could put the stripes and colour in the tag ;sob:.
Thank you for listening to my ted talk about a grid that has no functionality yet :)
looks like a schematic i gues
added a whole bunch of stuff, mainly to go towards the info system which I still haven’t implemented yet. But you can do some things with it which is cool.
so far i’ve just been working on layout. I still have yet to add logic or decide fully on whether I will just support homebrew or other package managers too.
funny thingy
squishy pc using threeJS
still learning how to use threeJS for effects and shading soon.
I’ve been working on the protfolio part of my project! The pc spins and is rendered through threeJS. You can rotate it but soon I will add more smooth animations and more interactive features.
