I built IOT_BOARD, a compact 4-layer ESP32-C3 IoT development board designed for rapid prototyping and embedded applications. It integrates USB programming, external flash memory, an SD card interface, onboard sensors, and efficient power management into a versatile platform for IoT and edge computing projects. One of the biggest challenges was bringing multiple hardware interfaces and power management features together in a compact PCB design. I’m proud of the project because it aims to make embedded development more accessible by combining essential features into a single board. Developers and makers can test it by connecting it to a computer through USB, programming the ESP32-C3, reading sensor data, and experimenting with external flash memory and SD card storage using compatible firmware and peripherals.
