Okay so here are the changes:

  • I added time to HackerOS
  • I’m probably going to add a wallpaper next
    -I’m adding a pop-up screen
-I’m going to remove the search bar as that tbh belongs to the new tab project and not an OS.

Welcome to Weather Fetch.

This Website displays weather of a location by requesting permission for location of user and sends API requests to Open Meteo for weather information and a separate request to bigdatacloud.net for displaying the location.

What I found challenging was making the AQI feature work and making the correct URLs for the API calls.
I’m Proud of the structure that I’ve given to my JS. The JS is not messily tangled altogether but rather in neat blocks of code. This prevents everything from breaking if one thing breaks. Another thing is the way I’ve used THREE APIs for this. sounds big.

The project is officially done!!! I got over with the AQI, and went on to add some animations to the website and two separate alerts. One alert for high UV and one alert for high chance of rain.

Okay. A lot has happened now actually. I’ve a big weather condition block, added time, location, added a lot more of CSS, added stickers too! Working on adding AQI and potentially FORECAST! i probably wont be doing forecast cuz AQI adding AQI has a lot more extra steps than adding the other stats, and i dont seem to figure it out. See the github commits for the proper progressions of features. i forgot about devlogs sorry

I just built my first ever coding project! I started off by learning HTML & CSS with SuperSimpleDev’s tutorial on HTMLCSS. Then I moved on to build my own project! A personal website! Something that i can actually ship to Stardance!!!
While making this website I faced a few challenges, most of them were pushing to Github with terminal commands, but other than that the challenges that I faced were formatting images of different sizes into 4 fixed boxes, learning @keyframes and some minimal animation from google to add a blinking vertical line, nesting elements and lastly spending hours on just experimenting formats for the website until i landed on the one it has now, a neo-brutalist design with a color theme. I Love the Helvetica font paired with -1px letter spacing for the About Me section.

Getting very close to finishing the YouTube webpage clone!!!!!! but now I’m started to start work on the main index.html to show what I’ve learnt till now and make the actual personal website with a neo-brutalist design. This is actually kinda fun and I’m hooked.
