Making my own Arduino-style dev board from the actual IC instead of just buying an Arduino. I’m designing the circuit, power section, USB/programming, headers and PCB myself. The goal is simple: understand how an Arduino actually works by building one.
NEXKEY is my custom 9-key macropad designed and built from scratch. I’m designing the hardware and PCB in KiCad, with a XIAO ESP32, TFT display, rotary encoder, RGB LEDs, and a 3×3 key matrix.
