shipped pokéOS v0.1.0-beta!!

its a pokémon themed web desktop OS. draggable windows, a top bar with a live clock and a button that plays the pokémon theme, and pokéRecords as the first app which lets you keep notes on your pokémon team and moves. sidebar with dynamic entries, content panel on the right, fully editable text.

built with just html css and js, no frameworks. had to debug a ton of stuff to get here like windows not rising to the top when clicked and the drag being broken because of one missing dash in an id.

ship on stardance
webOS 2 sometime
more apps (maybe a pokedex lookup?)

ig im starting to now put devlog numbers…..
here is the rendown of what happened. i restarted the pokerecords app and have an idea for what to do. i drew it out and attached the image. next is to how my mistakes. i was tryig to figure out how to make the window rise when it was tapped, but couldnt figure out why. i realized i need this code:

tasks to get done for next devlog:

• finish poke records app

next in the forseeable future:

• start webOS 2
• make more apps

i made a first welcome screen and also a records app that will be my first app. It is still in progress

i also removed the changing bg because i want less AI made onmy site

So i kinda realized that a pokemonOS is already sorta a thing….

BUT THAT WONT STOP ME!

Imma make it better that that website! (idk if that is possible bc that is really well made so who knows.

i followed the tutorial and added some of my own stuff like custom fonts and a button that plays the theme song of pokemon. I also ai-genned the pokemon-font, where there is padding on the font that is a different color making it look like a pokemon font.

Case Designing

so i basically worked for 2 hours and finished the case and am planning to add more flair like my name and some pokemon later👍

next step is the usb c hole and the firmware!
