DevLog #17. 2026-07-29. Hello people! I dont think I have disclosed this with yall, but putting the drill holes from the pcb on the case was incredibly hard, Thats the reason i have putting off making the case. but I finally gone pretty far in the case “Journey” or whatever you wanna call it! I overcame this by adding a SVG of the PCB in the Tinkercad file, letting me easier put the holes nicely. I also did minor fixes on the PCB, I made the annular ring (the copper thing around the screw holes in a PCB) from 6mm to 7mm to make sure the screw wont touch anything outside the ring. This is pretty much the entire days work. Also, I saw “Please write this yourself, humans read it!” here, I dont know if everyone gets this or not, but i dont use AI for any descriptions or anything like that! Thats about it! DevLog #16. 2026-07-27. Hello people! I been working a little bit more on the Github page but i mostly spent my time on the 3D printing case… it was hard to say the least. ReCap #2. Hello people! The PCB part of the project was quite long, so il do it in a bullet point type of list/story thing. 1. THE START: I started up easyEDA, I wanted to put all the components on the schematic first, but finding all of them were pretty hard, specifically the Cherry MX style keys. I couldnt find them for like an hour😭! I searched up a bunch of different synonyms to it, but kept getting empty handed, Until i found the user contributed tab on easyEDA. I connected them to the microcontroller, But then realized i had to use diodes too. The most difficult part was the different sides, anode and cathode, I kept mixing them up! I added the OLED screen next. The OLED screen was pretty easy to put in, only about a minute or so to put it in the schematic. 2. PCB DESIGN: I started with a few problems, like i didnt know how big the PCB should be and how the layout should look like. I decided it to be 90mm by 86.5 mm. I put the 3x3 switches in a grid, and the microcontroller in the top left corner. The Diodes in the bottom left corner and two screw holes in the corners. 3. THE FINISHED PRODUCT: I at first put a bunch of random silkscreen but then put it all at the back of the PCB and tried to make it more professional in the front. Thats about it! Dev log #14. 2026-07-26. Hello people! I finally finished the PCB silkscreen, I like it! I tried to make it both a little funny and personal in a professional setting. Dev Log #13. 2026-07-24. Hello people! Today I added screw hole and put all the personalized silkscreen in the back and i wanted it too look more “professional”, I put the diodes more neatly together and added “HACKCLUB” in an awesome font! Please give me suggestions to make the PCB look better! Il put your credits in the back corner of the PCB if i use your idea! Tomorrow il have to Make the PCB and the 3D printing case look better. Dev log #10. 2026-07-23. Hello people! The 19mm calculate was from center to center of the switches! between the sides its 5mm. I started putting together the top layer, but im not done yet! Dev log #9. 2026-07-23. Hello people! this will be quite a short dev log, i started making the keycap things, but im pretty confused the spacing, like how big the caps should be and how much space between them. What i found on the internet it said 19mm, but it seems wayyy to much. I will probably ask the Slack server for help. Thanks for reading!

Dev log #8. 2026-07-23. Hello people! I finished the base layout of the case, well i have to add the switch holder things and the actual design and stuff. I made a Lego type of thing, i added pegs in the corners and holes at the layer on top, Its 3 layers. Thats pretty much it! I would love if someone rated my dev logs! Thanks for reading!

Recap #1 2026-07-22. Hello people! I decided to make my first ever Recap thing! just to summarize today really quick, I went back to Tinkercad and I finally figured it out! I Made the wall thing and the backplate. Il do the recap thing now! I started with not knowing what diodes are and i had to delete my entire projects more than three times, but its been fun! the schematic took about four hours or so, I needed to find the right modules which was a pain! I couldnt find the cherry mx switches on easyEDA, but i found it…. after like an hour. i then started connecting diodes. I connected an OLED mini screen to the Xiao rp 2024 microcontroller, After that I connected a Rotary encoder but i decided to remove it after giving me sooo much trouble. When my PCB was done I added a few things on the silkscreen, a few refrences, a few pictures and credits! Right now im making a 3D printing case on tinkerpad! Thats all for now. Dev log #6. 2026-07-21. Hello people! I decided to remove the rotary, it gave me so many issues and i didnt even know why i wanted it. But i got some help from someone in the slack! They noticed that i switches up the SDA and SCL, I didnt see that before. I made the lines slightly thicker (0.3 mm) and when i did the auto route thing i got 0 DRC errors! I like how the pcb looks. I think im finally done with the PCB (hopefully i didnt jinx it) and will start on the 3d printing thing later. Thanks for reading!

Dev log #5. 2026-07-20. Hello people! I have finished the PCB!!!!! I had to make it slightly bigger to fit all the switches, and then i added a few images and refrences on the silkscreen! I did a invincible, young sheldon/big bang theory, Apple, stardance, albert camus and tyler the creator! I learned how to make silkscreen layers and a PCB in general. This is my first ever PCB and its been super fun! next dev log im probably gonna start on the 3d printing. Thanks for reading!

Dev log #4. 2026-07-20. Hello people! I did alot this session! First i finished the switches and diodes, then I added a OLED screen, then i added a rotary thing! i started on the PCB but im probably gonna redo it. I like how the schematic looks, i tried to make it as organized as possible. I had to remove the old switches and use a new model, since the first ones didnt have a PCB version too. Dev log #3. 2026-07-20. Hello people! I decided to work on a logo! it took about an hour. I took inspiration from apples old rainbow logo. I added the stardance “mascot” in the corner! I tried to make it as colorful as possible. I learned how to use canva better by making letters out of shapes. I might change the logo later on. I appreciate constructive criticism. Dev log #2, 2026-07-18. Hello people! i had even MORE trouble with connecting all the switches. I had to connect diodes, which was pretty hard to understand at first. I will probably make another dev log later today. I learned about diodes and how they look and connect. This has been so fun to do, even when i had to delete all the wiring it was just more fun to do it again and making it look better. I appreciate if anyone says if i did anything wrong in the picture below. Thanks so much for reading!

Dev Log #1. 2026-07-18 I had some trouble starting the project. I used EasyEDA which i had some trouble finding the rights symbols, But i finally found the MX switches and started connecting them. I didnt connect all of them yet, i have four left to connect. This has been fun since this is my first ever hackclub project. I learned how to make a schematics and how EasyEDA software works.
