I created FocusManager, which includes a to-do list, a timer (Pomodoro by default) and a programme blocker. The aim was to help myself (and others) avoid being distracted by external factors.
In terms of the code, the most challenging part was creating the user interface and doing a bit of work with JSON files. As for publishing the project on GitHub, GitHub Actions was probably the most difficult part for me, as this is the first time I’ve created a project with the aim of allowing others to install and try it out. In fact, this is all a first for me. I’ll try to take all these mistakes into account in future.
I’m proud that I managed to see the project through to the end.
What do people need to know to be able to test my project? To be honest, I don’t know where you can host console programmes, so I’ve included a GIF as a demo video. I don’t think ordinary users need any particular programming skills.
