Yes, I know. It’s another web OS. NeonOS so far has basic functionality working, such as a loading screen, opening/closing apps, and a top bar. Now I just have to make apps.

I made the classic 2048 number game, but in a hexagon instead of a square! I think that it looks mostly clean, and I find it pretty fun to play. It is a vanilla browser page, and can take input from a keyboard or a touchscreen.

I’ve basically finished my hexagonal 2048 game! The game itself, saving, help, and reset are all working, and the only thing left to add is a README (ugh). I think the game is pretty fun, though.

I have made progress on my hexagonal 2048 game! 1) There is now a help screen, and 2) I got an 8192! Then, I decided that I have much better uses for my time. After I add the scoring, I’ll probably be about done, so I seem to be on track for my goal of a quick project.

I’ve been making a hexagonal 2048 game! The game mechanics are working fine, and the logic is all in place. The only real things I have left to do are to add touchscreen input (swiping), scoring, and add functionality to reset and help buttons. (OK, fine, and write a README).

I made Panels, a game that was going to be an escape room, but is just a series of puzzles. I finally re-learned how to use html canvas, and had fun making and solving the puzzles.

The three levels are

  • Basic slider manipulation
  • A swap-to-solve puzzle
  • Tic tac toe, but with the squares shuffled

I also tried my best at a decent UI while I was at it :)

I’ve done some final work on Panels, my pseudo-escape room game. It now has the third and final level, which is a tic-tac-toe game against the computer, but with the squares shuffled around😈! It also has a winning animation, a somewhat-acceptable README, and will be shipped after this!

Panels was supposed to be an escape room, but now it is just a series of puzzles. I’m fine with that, though. So far it has three stages, and that seems to be enough for me. Some of them are hard to explain, so it might just be easier to try them yourself. I will probably just add a win animation, a hints page, and then ship it :)

I’ve been working on Panels, a little game with a bunch of puzzles, kind of like an escape room. I don’t really know much about game design, and haven’t made a game in a few months (okay, maybe 2 years), but so far it has the first stage of puzzles done, which mostly just involve manipulating some sliders :)

I made a new tab webpage with Conway’s game of life running in the background. It can search google, follow web addresses, and look satisfying! I had the most trouble with using CSS to lay things out, as I haven’t done a lot of frontend in a while, but I am content with how it looks.

I’ve been making LifeTab, a new tab page with John Conway’s game of life running in the background. So far, the image basically shows it all, as I haven’t done frontend in a while.
