Striving to learn,
Ship Changes requested

This is a sandbox game project I’ve created by myself, it’s about playing around with objects, ragdolls, fruits! (yes you read right)
The game has 4 maps, each of them unique, and consists of 2 main gamemodes Sandbox and Survival:
Sandbox: The player can mess around with the entities as much as they’d want without having to worry about death.
Survival: The objective of the player is to finish through all of the waves, which progressively get harder, whilst ridding all of the zombies in ways they please.

The game consists around a toolbar that can be used to access 6 tools:

  1. Hand tool, used to thrust items away from the player.
2.Magnet ray, it takes posession of the item you right click on, and the scrollwheel can be used to pull it closer, or to repel it from the player.
  2. Item spawnner, pretty self-explanatory.
  3. Helium Balloons, you can now attach balloons to any object or ragdoll to make it fly.
  4. Rocket Launcher, used to shoot missiles at objects… and Zombies.
  5. Trasher, used to get rid of redundant objects you don’t want lying around.
One of the main takeaways from the game is the Physics, I’ve spent a lot of time trying to refine them to make it highly realistic.
    Thank you for reading! :D

Last Devlog | Menu & Debugging
Hey guys, so I’ve finally finished the project, and I am also done with the final touches :done-by-ajay: .
I added the game menu (as you can see below), and fixed some buggy physics, and glitches I encountered.
You can play the game online now, without having to download it from github, the game also supports mobile so have fun!
Play the game here: https://alishayan41879.github.io/Playground-Z/
Thank you for reading! and a Final Goodbye. :wave-pikachu:

Devlog#4 | Survival Mode & Inventory Items

Hey guys, been a while. So I’ve worked on the inventory system and now you can add more than just boring crates. Select Q to to select between the the items you would like to spawn.

I’ve also added a new gamemode (as promised), and it’s turned out to be pretty addicting, especially wave 5+, so go on and try it!
Bonus: New MAPS! :jumpingparrot:
Thank you for reading.

Devlog#3 | Finished Gameplay!
Hey guys, I’ve got good news. I finished developing the rest of the hotbar items:
3. Crate spawner, pretty self-explanatory.
4. Helium Balloons, you can now attach balloons to any object or ragdoll to make it fly.
5. Rocket Launcher, used to shoot missiles at objects. (will be useful for upcoming gamemodes)
6. Trasher, used to get rid of redundant objects you don’t want lying around.
It took really long learning how to code the physics for each of these instruments, so I really hope y’all enjoy my game, which I will release very very soon.
Thank for you taking the time to read <3

Devlog#2 | Props, Physics, and Hotbar.

So I have finally added new props to the game including crates, balls, and some ramps. I’ve also added physics to the ball so that you can use your the different items in the hotbar to, esentially, play around with it.
The hotbar currently includes:

  1. A hand feature, simple tool used to thrust items away from the player.
  2. A magnet ray, it takes posession of the item you right click on, and the scrollwheel can be used to pull it closer, or to repel it from the player.
Going to finish coding the other 4 soon!

Thank you for reading… (Human).

First Devlog | Initialisation, and Map Creation

Hey guys! so I’ve just created a new project for a sandbox game idea. The purpose of the game is to… mess around with ragdolls and objects, but it should also include a zombie mode (which I’ll be developing soon dw).

It took me 2 days but I’ve finally made an substantially advanced camera system - compared to my last game - but I also managed to finish with the first map.

The animation is what took up most of my time… still looks fiddly yet I am satified with the results, but do let me know if y’all have tips. I also did the character designs thanks to some easy tutorial.

Thanks for reading!

Ship Changes requested

I made a 3D dropper game from scratch using online tutorials and hours of coding, the game is about an astronaut jumping through giant ‘craters’ and uses that low-gravity trait to avoid objects that may come in its way to reach the other side of planets.

Controls:

  • Classic WASD for movement.
  • Space bar to drop drown.
  • Mouse to look around.

Some of the main issues I did face with development were coding up the main POV camera, so I did copy a script for that 😅.
I also needed help designing the interface so I used the good old GPT, but everything beyond that is completely coded yours truly.

Honestly I really enjoyed developing this game, and the fact that this platform basically pays you to do that, was a real motivator there. I am looking forwards to make even more projects soon!

Thank you for Reading this/Playing my game :)

Devlog#7 | Added Death & Respawn Mechanics & Levels.
Finally finished adding hitboxes and repawn-on-death mechanic to the game, and finished renovating all the level. The game is very playable now, and will be published very soon! I am just considering adding a few touches and maybe gamemodes as a cherry on top :blobby-ice_cream: . (Do give me suggestions)

Devlog#6 | Added freefall mechanics and movement
I know it’s been a while, but I’ve finally found the time to add the main mechanics to the game, I have a feeling it’s going to be playable soon! Here’s what the gameplay should look like:

Devlog#5 | Level Designs!
Yesssssss I finally finished some of the level designs, it look really long cuz I literally had to code every single entity (and yes some of them spin 🌀). I hope you guys like the designs 🥲.
