SectionForge is a desktop tool for civil engineers that turns a CAD corridor drawing into finished utility cross-section sheets. Open a DXF and it reads every buried service (water, sewer, telecom, power, gas), finds every section line in the drawing, cuts all of them at once, and shows each cut as a card with its state: ready, needs a clearance, or violation. Clearance rules are entered once per utility and apply to every cut. One click writes MMUP-standard cross-section drawings back out as DXF, composed onto numbered sheets, with dimensions, leaders, duct grids and layer/text/dimension styles taken from the source drawing. A companion Cross-Section Designer lets you sketch a corridor by hand: drag services to size them on a ruler, see the section update live at true scale, and export the same DXF. Python + ezdxf for the geometry, an embedded Chromium (pywebview) UI, packaged as a single Windows exe.
