DevLog Day 1 (9/16/2026)

Notes:
This is my very first time making a dev log for a project, so I have no idea what I’m doing! Anyways, I’ve already been working on my desk robot for a couple of days (just the computer parts so far) and I feel like I’ve been making good progress.
I’m thinking of calling it/her “Sprite”. Like the computer animated graphic sprites.

What I Did Today:
Retested camera file
Started listening file
Added project onto GitHub
Started tracking project hours with Hackatime

Improvements to be Made:
AI response tone feels stiff

Goals for Next TIme:
Code a loop so that (when enter/space key is pressed) Sprite will record audio to overwrite the current “listening.mp3” file.
Combine audio + video.
Give Sprite a voice!
