Worked on two new features.
Seemed simple at the beginning, but I couldn’t help but cleaning up the code, so I introduced more problems and had to fix them :P
1. Random test paths
Drawing new paths (squares with distinct colors and names) so I could test layer reordering was taking too much time. I should’ve started this so much earlier (for example before I finish working on path reordering) but it could help in the future. I will probably remove those before release, but the function is still there and I could call it anytime.
2. Path reordering from viewport using page_up, page_down, home, and end
page_up: move up one layer
page_down: move down one layer
home: move to top
end: move to bottom
I plan to add buttons for those at the tool bar for the next devlog.
Rabbit whole
I wanted to move reorderLayer() method from the layerReordered() function (creative naming
) so I could also call it from viewport. I then had to unify the indexing logic between layerReordered() and viewport which meant more STL headaches and more sementation faults
