the start of the day was spent with all of us drawing our ideas for how we’d design a robot that could complete the course and then discussing what we drew, which was pretty helpful since i changed my design a few times based on what other people drew. i spent some time trying to get the IMX708 camera they bought to connect, which of course took the entire day 😭
the problem was that i was plugging it into port zero but the line in /boot/firmware/config.txt was dtoverlay=imx708. of course it was supposed to be include cam0 to specify it was plugged into port 0 and not the apparent default of port 1(?!?).
but whatever, i got the camera plugged in and showing stills by the end of the day
