Outpost funds your hardware build. When you start a project as "I need Funding", log your design hours, then hit "Submit Design to Get Project Funding" and pick the complexity tier that matches what you're making. A reviewer approves a grant up to that tier's maximum.

Spend less, earn Stardust
You don't have to request your whole tier. For every dollar you leave on the table, you earn 2 Stardust toward the Outpost Ticket in the shop. Once your accrued discount covers the ticket, the extra rolls into a flight stipend.
After your grant
When your grant is approved, your project moves to the build stage. Log your build time with a timelapse and post at least one build devlog before you can ship. Only build-stage hours (after reviewer checks) earn Stardust at the voting booth. Design-stage hours don't pay out.
